DISCLAIMER OF SERVICES FOR RITA'S AFRICAN BRAIDING SALON: THE CLIENT FULLY AGREES TO THIS DISCLAIMER IF HE/SHE BOOKS ANY SERVICE OF THIS SALON.

Please  read this disclaimer regarding the terms and conditions of Rita’s African Braiding Salon before you book a service with a stylist. Notice that there is a $50 non-refundable deposit required for that service at the time of booking. The deposit will go towards the full price of that service requested and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due at the time of service.

  1. A client can only make one appointment per person and if the client decides to cancel his/her appointment, the client automatically forfeits his/her deposit.

  2. .We do not take same day appointments, appointments can only be requested in 24 hours. If the client already has an appointment with us in 24 hours and decides he/she wants to reschedule the appointment, he/she will have to pay $15 fee every time the appointments is rescheduled.

  3.  If the client is late, the client must notify me by text or call if he/she will be 3 to 5 minutes late on your appointment time.

  4. -10 minutes late, the client will have to pay a $25 fee before work is started.

  5. -If the client shows early then his/her appointment will have to wait 5 min unit their appointment time to make a call or text.

  6. 15 minutes late, the client’s appointments will be canceled.

  7.  We do not provide hair for all braiding style services. Therefore, we only provide hair on the following braiding services: Box braids, Knotless Box braid, Feed-in Braids, Boho knotless (NOT 100% HUMAN HAIR) and Senegalese Twists Any braiding style service that is not listed, the client must supply their own hair.

  8.  client must show up on appointment when hair and scalp is washed & cleaned well. $30 for shampoo and blow-drying services. Client must notice us on booking site if you need shampoo service. 

  9. If the client is tender headed, please notify us by email or through our CONTACT PAGE on our website before u book the appointment.

  10. We do not provide braiding services for kids that are tender headed.  Kids under age 5 years old, braiding styles are charged by the hour ($65 per hour).

  11. Our services are by appointment only. The salon OPEN hours begin at  7:00 am through 7:00 pm.  Any appointment after Salon hours will be charged $70; last appointment client will have to pay before the services start.

  12. All services completed by salon stylist, client must allow photo(s) to be taken for our salon’ Instagram and Facebook page.

  13. We love and care for our clients. Therefore, we must be respectful towards one another while in the salon. Let’s be united on this front and be respectful to each other. So please, while you are receiving a service, show respect because if we have to cancel your appointment due to bad behavior/disrespect, you will have to forfeit your funds for service.

  14. The client can't make any changes with the service once the appointment is booked; regardless, if it’s before the appointment date or the day of appointment.

  15. When you arrive for your appointment time, please give stylist time to open the door and turn the sign on. For safety reasons, we can’t allow the client to stand behind the stylist when opening the door; he/she must remain outside the salon until salon is officially open. Once the salon is open, the client can come into the salon.

  16. The stylist can only answer questions that are not addressed by the website.

  17. There will be a $20 booking fee if the client chooses to make an appointment by phone.  

  18. Any changes made 24 hours before the client’s appointment time will not be able to reuse the initial deposit made or pay the $15 reschedule fee. The client will have to rebook the service again and pay another $50 deposit.

  19. The client must make sure he/she is satisfied/happy with the service before he/she leaves the salon. The stylist will not be responsible for any changes to the client’s completed services once the client steps outside of the doors of the salon and decides that he/she is not satisfied with the service. If the client wants a new service/hair style, the client will be required to make another appointment and pay for the full service again (including the deposit).

  20. Clients under the age of 14 will be charged under kids’ service pricing for only knotless and box braids. If the client is 15 years or older, he/she will be charged for adults’ service pricing.Clients must notify the stylist before booking a service if his/her hair is shorter than an inch or between the length of one-three inches long. If the client fails to notify the stylist of the short hair length before booking, the client will be charged a $125 fee.

NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS WILL BE GIVEN FOR A NO SHOW OR CANCELLATION! BY BOOKING A SERVICE, THE CLIENT AGREES TO ALL THE SALON'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN DISCLAIMER
